Despite it being the start of the october holidays we had a very successful day! I’m so pleased that I managed to meet my fundraising target!! Would like to thank all the team at ASDA Middleton Park for their help and support, especially Jan!

After 6 months off the snow I am finally able to start skiing again! This Saturday I’m going to Tignes in France to start training for the season. I have been working on my fitness all summer so I can make the most of my time away.

Yesterday me and a couple of friends did a small bag pack. It was a really successful day and everyone was very supportive.

I would like to thank all the team at Middleton Park for helping out and I am looking forward to the next fundraising event!

I have now left school so I can take up a full time place on the Scottish Ski team. I am very excited to have this opportunity to ski full time which means I will be away in Norway, France and maybe Sweden for the majority of the season both racing and training.
Until the season starts I am working very hard on my fitness and going to the gym everyday. Updates about fundraising to follow :)

Last Sunday we did a slightly smaller fund-raising event, with a tombola.

Although it was a sunny day, there were quite a few shoppers out and we managed to raise money to help pay for my new ski boots.

I would love to thank all the team at ASDA, Middleton Park for helping me out with my bag pack the other week, and a HUGE thank you to Jan Craig for organising it!! We did some bag packing and face painting, and the money raised will really help me towards my equipment costs this season.

This summer I am staying at home and concentrating on my fitness, which is a really important part of ski racing.

Some of the Scottish team have traveled all the way to Austraila to ski this summer, but i wont get back onto the snow until October. In the mean time here are a couple of clips from earlier this year in Meribel, France. Enjoy :P

Instead of having to travel all the way abroad to ski, i have been able to ski on my doorstep!! This amazing season has come at a great time, as my fourth year exams are coming up!

I have been training or racing in Scotland almost every weekend. There has even been a FIS race!! This is the first time since 2001 that a official FIS race was held in Scotland. A FIS race is a junior race, where any racers registered can compete.

On saturday I am flying off to Meribel, France. This is where the British Championships are held. Fingers crossed!
